It depicts Eddie Brock publicly shaming mega-corporation founder Carlton Drake after he reveals his company's experiments involving cross-species genetics being kept secret from the world. Shortly after that, Venom crashes down through the ceiling behind him and attacks him along with several thugs. One of the thugs gets infected while confronting Venom causing him to attack the other goons as well. Eddie flees with a wounded Drake to the Boneyard, Riz Ahmed's character's hideout. While there, Eddie comes into contact with Venom again and tries unsuccessfully to resist his urges while conversing with his symbiote.
