History of Harley Davidson

Harley Davidson is an American motorcycle company that made popular motorcycles for several decades and still today sells used Harley Davidson motorcycles. Harley Davidson motorcycles were first manufactured in 1903, and became successful quickly after that time period due to technological improvements in bike design. These improvements were modifications to the ignition system, which made them much easier for people to start.

The Marlboro Man was created in 1954 during a time period when there was a great healing movement in America and the world. This was due to World War II and all of the frustration built up over that time period. The 54 advertisements showed men riding on horses or motorcycles, many with cigarettes sticking out of their mouths. This could have been a result from this healing trend, as it was almost an "I don't care about anything" mentality at the time. The ads showed all kinds of different situations, ranging from wild animals like bull elk and buffalo to wild landscapes like canyons and mountainscapes. No one was presented in a negative way, and all situations were portrayed as ideal.
