Real Name Of Wolverine
Wolverine is a superhero with the Marvel Comics universe. His real name is James Howlett and he's also known as Logan. During his life, he became one of the most famous mutants in the Marvel Universe and beyond.
He was born to a rich family with ties to the military and politics who got killed when Wolverine was still young. After that, he lived on his own for a while until he was taken by a man who would become his adoptive father. He lived with the Howlett's until he became an adult and eventually met a woman, whom he had a son with.
One day, Logan was approached by Professor X to join him as part of the original team of the X-Men, where he served as a loyal member for a long time. During his years as an X-Men, he met other mutants such as Cyclops, Storm, Jean Grey and Beast who would become his best friends.
He was also the first to encounter many of the X-Men's enemies such as Magneto, Sabretooth or even Dracula himself.
In the last period of his life, he met a clone of himself named X-23 who would come to be one of his closest allies. Like him, she was trained by the man known as the Ogun. She also came to share many things with him such as feelings of isolation or being an outsider.
When he died in combat against the Phoenix, he was brought back to life shortly after by means of a Celestial Death Seed which enhanced his abilities even further. He became connected to all parts of the universe yet again and it allowed him both new powers but also made him feel more alienated than ever before. After defeating Shingen Yashida, he finally returned North and rebuilt his life on an island that had been used once before by Magneto during his time as a villain. He offered the X-Men a place on his island where they could train both publicly and secretly to prepare for whatever would be coming their way.
HOW OLD IS WOLVERINE
Wolverine is over one hundred years old. He was born in the late 1800s. His exact age is unknown, but he has lived through two World Wars and several other major events throughout history.
Wolverine's powers include superhuman strength, speed, stamina, durability, healing abilities and animal-like senses. He also has razor sharp claws that are housed within his hands with retractable extensions protruding from between each of his knuckles. Although most fan art includes adamantium (a metal alloy) laced to Wolverine's bones when they were originally fused together by Weapon X; this is not necessarily canon. However, it does make for some incredibly fascinating character design which is why we've included it here!
Wolverine's skill set consists of hand to hand combat with vast training in many forms of martial arts, samurai training in the finest Japanese fighting styles and he is also a master in small arms combat. He has learned how to use an intimidating amount of weapons such as spears, nunchakus and even boomerangs! His animal-like senses give him abilities such as heightened smell and hearing which allows him to track his prey from miles away, sense body heat and heartbeats, or just get a general idea of what direction they're coming from.
Wolverine's healing factor is one of his most well known powers. His healing rate is so fast that it cannot be seen by the naked eye; giving him the ability to survive deadly injuries such as gunshots and stabs through the chest without batting an eye. He has even been decapitated and had his head reattached to his body! You have to really try to kill this guy.
His bones are also laced with Adamantium, the strongest known metal on Earth which gives Wolverine's claws an extra bit of power. The fact that they are part of his actual skeleton doesn't hurt either! A few other powers he has demonstrated over the years include telepathy (both sending and receiving), astral projection, mind control, memory manipulation/erasure, invisibility, psychic dampening (although not effective against telepaths like Professor X), energy blasts (he once shot out Cyclops' visor!), restricted phasing, anti-magnetism (he can disrupt Magneto's powers and control metal) and his roar can destroy entire structures (he once destroyed the X-Mansion).
Wolverine's physical abilities are only limited by his endurance. The more he fights, the more powerful he gets. He has fought many of Marvel's most powerful beings such as Sabretooth, Blob, Lady Deathstrike (twice!), Juggernaut (although it didn't last), Omega Red, Wendigo and even a part of Magneto's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants! Every time Wolverine goes up against these incredibly strong villains or teams thereof; he proves that not even they stand a chance against him.
He has gone toe to toe with so many Super Heroes in the Marvel Universe you can't even begin to count them all! Wolverine has fought Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thing, Colossus (X-Men vs. Avengers), Psylocke (twice!), Cyclops (he beat the crud out of him once!) and even Captain America with nothing but his claws and his natural animal instincts!
Wolverine is considered an Omega Level Threat by intelligence agencies such as S.H.I.E.L.D., The Hand and HYDRA simply because he is so incredibly dangerous! He can't be reasoned with nor does he stand down when things get rough which makes him a threat to not only super villains but also other superheroes who don't share the same ideals as Logan does.
If you want to know why Wolverine is one of the best fighters in the Marvel Universe you have to read a few comics featuring him. The first comic I would recommend is Wolverine: Origins #1 . Here we see Wolverine's mysterious past and how he got those Adamantium claws! You can also try his own ongoing series called simply, Wolverine , starting with Issue .
Logan/Wolverineis an awesome team up issue where both heroes meet for the very first time. If you want something even more intense then check out Sabretooth: Death Hunt which begins with Issue ! It has been said that Sabretooth and Wolverine share a long history together and if you want to find out what it is; this graphic novel tells all (and trust me, there's a lot of it)!
Wolverine has battled many villains in the Marvel Universe over his long career including not only Sabretooth but also Omega Red, Deadpool, Juggernaut (twice), Mystique, Lady Deathstrike, Wendigo and even Dracula himself! He is undoubtedly one of the most lethal beings on Earth so if you ever come across him...well I wouldn't wish that upon anybody.
Wolverine's first appearance was back in 1974 during a cameo on a few pages on a comic book called The Incredible Hulk . Talk about being late to the party! Wolverine is Canadian and got his claws during one fateful night where he fights his fellow comrade (in Alpha Flight) which ends with both men dead. Later on, they find themselves resurrected but this time one of them has Adamantium laced bones...it's Wolverine!
HOW TALL IS WOLVERINE
People are usually around 6'2" to 6'4" which is around 187 to 198 cm. Wolverine isn't really much taller than the Hulk. The Marvel site lists Wolverine as 5'3" which might seem short but keep in mind that's probably his height without his Adamantium laced bones so he could actually be much taller! Google wasn't very helpful when I tried searching for this answer.
HOW STRONG IS WOLVERINE
Wolverine was shown to have some seriously amazing feats of strength before becoming enhanced with Adamantium but just how strong was he? He used to be able to lift around 800 lbs (363 kg) before getting injected with the metal stuff! His natural mutant powers allow him to exert himself at peak capacity for several hours before fatigue begins to impair him. Wolverine can lift over 1 ton (1,000 kg) when he is in high adrenaline situations!
HOW FAST IS WOLVERINE
Wolverine's speed isn't too shabby either. He can run at speeds up to 30 mph (48 km/h) for short periods of time which is actually pretty impressive considering how big he is. His agility also allows him to dodge bullets, deflect them with his claws or even catch them. Keep in mind that Wolverine has yet to appear in the MCU so I'm not sure what his capabilities are on screen but it will probably be something along the lines of this unless ABC decides to go with a more accurate version of the character.
HOW TO KILL WOLVERINE
I'm not sure there is any way to do this with out the adamantium. The best you can probably hope for is to put him in a coma and eventually his healing factor would kick in and he would awaken. Wolverine's healing ability is so fast that he can heal from most injuries within seconds which makes it pretty hard to kill someone like him so you might want to reconsider your plan of action!
how did wolverine die
Wolverine died when he was fatally wounded in an attack by a feral clone of himself created by Zander Rice who was working for the evil organisation Reavers, who were seeking to destroy Wolverine before he could find them. Logan is impaled through the chest with his own claws, after which the clone cuts open his head and pulls out his brain.
