Who is Star Lord
Peter Quill, also known as "Star-Lord," is a fictional character who appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Steve Englehart and Steve Gan in 1973, the character first appeared in Marvel Preview before making his first appearance as Star-Lord in The Avengers.
He is the son of two human parents from Earth that had been abducted and taken to an alien world called Spartax. He was raised by a group of humanoids he referred to as "the monks." When he learned that his parents were still alive, he left the planet with them to explore the universe.
Quill became a freelance adventurer and began calling himself "Star-Lord," after two comic book heroes he idolized -- the late Western hero Starhawk and the alien policeman known as Peter Quill.
He joined the Avengers in order to help them defeat his new enemy, Thanos, who he helped execute. He was also briefly a member of the Defenders, until that team disbanded. After leaving the Defenders, Quill would again battle Thanos, and assist greatly in defeating him by destroying the Cosmic Cube that gave Thanos nearly unlimited power. This would prove to be one of Star-Lord's most notable accomplishments. Either way, Star-Lord has always proven to be a capable leader when it comes down to it and even served time as the leader of his own team in space, the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Quill never knew his father, as Ego left Earth shortly after his son was conceived. Quill grew up in a town called St. Charles, Missouri. He lived with his mother and grandfather. Quill became a wild child when he was little. He got into a lot of fights. But he was close to his mom. A person made a mix tape of her favourite songs from when she was a kid. She called it "Awesome Mix. When other kids asked him where his dad was,Quill told them that his dad was David and was too busy to see him.

When he was eight years old, Peter's mother became afflicted with terminal brain cancer that, best unknown to Peter, was caused by Ego, who feared that his son's growing attachment to Meredith would turn him away from his Expansion plan. His mother's illness worsened over time, and shortly before she died, she gave Peter a present and a note attached to it. In her final moments, she begged Peter to hold her hand, but he could not bear to look at her. Quill later recalled how, growing up in a Ravager clan, Yondu Udonta had often "kicked the crap out of starlord in order to teach him how to fight and kept him in terror by threatening to eat him. He also told Quill that they kept him because he was a skinny kid who could squeeze into places that adults couldn't therefore making it easier for thieving. The man said that the threat to eat Quill was a joke., but when he was a child, he believed this to be serious.

Yondu Udonta gave Quill an M-Ship when he was ten years old, that Quill named the Milano, after his childhood crush Alyssa Milano. Quill's extensive Nova Corps criminal record includes 1 count of fraud, 2 counts of public intoxication, 1 count of assault and 1 count of illegal manipulation of a Gramosian Duchess. Though Rhomann Dey caught him in the act of petty theft from Quill's caper, the charge was never put on his record.

In 2014, Peter Jason Quill decided to leave the Ravagers and operate individually. Unintentionally, he became a key player in the quest for a precious artifact known as the Orb after stealing it from Morag. Following his arrest, Peter Quill forged an uneasy alliance with fellow inmates Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Rocket Raccoon, and Groot to escape prison. They first rallied as a team by saving Xandar from Ronan the Accuser, who wanted to use the Power Stone.After a few months, Quill and the other Guardians were hired by Ayesha and the Sovereign to defend Anulax Batteries (a power company) from an Abilisk. However, after Rocket stole some of the batteries, Ayesha sent her fleet after them with no chance of success as they had previously always been defended against After spending a few days getting to know his father, Meredith's killer, Quill found that he could no longer justify working with Ego. He allied himself with fellow Guardians and stopped Ego from terraforming the universe. After Quill murdered Ego and witnessed Yondu Udonta's selfless sacrifice, he continued to lead the Guardians of the Galaxy with Gamora by his side.
In 2023, five years after his death, Quill was resurrected along with all the other lives claimed by the Snap. He went back to Earth with help from Strange. They met Gamora who came from a different timeline and they fought together.. After the battle, Quill flew to New Asgard to retrieve Thor A man named Peter Quill decided to join the Guardians and started looking for Gamora.
